The artist has captured this area, often frequented by moose, beaver and otters, towards the end of its fall glory. Oil on canvas, framed as shown with a linen liner. About this Artist: Robert Gordon's creative world is 'always nature, in which the works of man figure slightly." His painting style is broad and free-flowing, with detail kept to a minimum. His paintings glow with color that is soft and subtle. his chosen subjects range from the intimacy of gardents and still-life to the wild grandeur of landscape and seascape. Bob paints the mountains and rivers of New Hampsthire, the villages and farms of Vermont and the coastline and harbors of Maine and Massachusetts.

Bob was born in Lynne, Massachusetts. He studied at the Monserrat School of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, and at Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester, Vermont. He is a member of the North Shore Art Association, the International Society of Marine Painters, the Mount Washington Valley Art Association and a former member of the Newburyport Art Association.

Bob has won many awards and has exhibited in one-man and national group shows all over the country.
