About the Artist: "My name is Sean Stull. I am a pastel artist. I believe that pastels hold the potential for a subtle exploration of nature's power, which has never been fully realized. In that I push the medium to reach that potential, I consider myself a truly modern artist. Yet my work is also representational and elemental. To me, the word "elemental" describes both nature in its most natural mood, as well as forms found in nature, best portrayed in a landscape composition. The driving force of my work comes from my firm and deeply rooted belief that nature is vibrant, alive, and profound."

One of Sean's favorite places is Ireland: he spends a fair amount of time there, and the misty moodiness of the Irish landscapes are inherent in his work, including his White Mountain landscapes. There is a mystique to all of Sean's work, which makes his landscapes intriguing and rich.

Sean studied at Goddard College and the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. His work is in many private and public collections, including The American Embassy in Dublin, Ireland.
